Central HeatingÂ
The Central Heating at Newlands is controlled by a Hive thermostat located at the bottom of the stairs.Â

Each room has a radiator with a thermostatic valve - please adjust these as necessary.

We have set the heating to come on 07:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 23:00. If you need to adjust this please follow the instructions below.

1. Adjust Temperature

2. Boost Heating

Bathrooms
Both bathrooms have the same light switch controls.

The LEFT SWITCH operates the main lights. It also activates the extractor fan and heated mirror demister. When you turn this swicth off the extractor will continue to operate for about 10 mins. Please do not try to override this as it stops our bathrooms from getting damp.

The RIGHT SWITCH operates the wall lights either side of the mirror. We find it useful to also use these as night lights as they do not activate the extractor.
Towel Rails
The towel rails in the bathrooms are heated by the central heating system.

In the summer the heating may not be on so we have also equiped the towel rails with separate electic heating to dry your towels.

Parking
At Newlands we share a drive with our neighbours.

If we all park with courtesy there is plenty of space for everyone.

Please park close to our house to allow our neighbours access to their part of the drive and their garage.
Parking spaces
Please park in the bays numbered 1 to 3.

When parking in bay 3 please park very close to the house (on the grass) to avoid blocking the drive.
